The 90’s kids will never forget Internet Explorer as the same helped the generation to explore the opportunities of the internet and also to load pages on the internet. Internet Explorer was released in 1995 with Windows 95 and the tech giant Microsoft improved the browser with the new features and interface at a regular interval.
However, the arrival of the new age browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera Mini, and even Brave made Internet Explorer an outdated and the slowest internet browser in the world. We can also see that Microsoft lost the path in the race and didn’t try to push Internet Explorer to give a head-to-head competition with the modern browsers.

Microsoft introduced a new browser called the latest Microsoft Edge with Windows 10 operating system and the same is now available in the latest Windows 11 operating system as well. Microsoft tried various methods to attract users on Microsoft Edge but failed and then the company rebuild the browser with Chromium features.
Now the company is retiring Internet Explorer after long 27 years and implementing the Internet Explorer modes in Microsoft Edge.
The retirement of Internet Explorer will not be an issue for the new internet users but it will be painful for those who started surfing the internet via Internet Explorer and the same will be close to their hearts forever. Goodbye and rest in peace Internet Explorer, you will be remembered forever.
