According to the source, the upcoming Microsoft Surface 5 will be introduced in two screen sizes and that will be 13.5-inch and 15-inch models. The 13.5-inch model will feature a 2256 x 1504 pixels resolution while the 15-inch model will come with 2496 x 1664 resolution. Both models of the laptop series will feature a 120Hz PixelSense Flow refresh rate along with 3:2 aspect ratio, and Dolby Vision.
It is also reported that the upcoming 13.5-inch device will be powered by Intel Core i5-1240P, Intel Core i7-1280P, and AMD Ryzen 5 6680U. On the other hand, the 15-inch will have two chipset options – AMD Ryzen 7 and Intel Core i7-1280P.
Both devices will come with 8GB, 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR4x RAM and the devices will also feature 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB SSD storage options. It is also said that the Intel models of the upcoming laptop will also feature Iris Xe iGPU, while the AMD models will come with the new RDNA 2 powered Radeon GPU.Â
