Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio specifications
Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio is one of the biggest announcements at Wednesday’s Microsoft event. The new device is designed as an “evolution of the surface book” and is “built on the legacy of the surface book and the surface studio”.
This device is aimed at developers, creative professionals, designers and gamers who want a creative studio with the portability of a laptop. The Surface laptop studio has a 14.4-inch pixelSense display that is mounted on a dynamic woven hinge, which allows the display to be moved at multiple angles. Allows the device to convert from a traditional notebook to a tablet or canvas. However, the display is inseparable — unlike the Surface Book 3, you can take the screen off the keyboard and use it as a tablet.
Microsoft has provided three different modes for the Surface Laptop Studio. The first is a laptop mode, which gives you a full keyboard and touchpad for a regular notebook-like experience. However, you can move the display to stage mode. This comes after the display is pushed forward to a corner where the keyboard is covered, but the touchpad exposure allows for gaming, streaming, docking and presentation. The third mode is called Studio Mode, where you can move the display like a canvas or write notes on top of the keyboard.
Under the hood, Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio also offers 11th generation Intel Core H35 processors along with the Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU. The device includes studio microphones and a 1080p webcam for an enhanced video conferencing experience. Additionally, the touchpad in the Surface Laptop Studio includes haptic feedback.
The Surface Laptop Studio includes an area below the keyboard, where you can place the Surface Slim Pen 2, which is magnetically attached and charged when not in use.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is primarily Microsoft’s 2-in-1 flagship this year, as it does not allow users to separate its display from the Surface Laptop Studio keyboard. The Surface Pro 8 has a 13-inch pixelSense display, touch support and a 120Hz refresh rate.
It supports adaptive color technology designed to adjust the color output of the display to suit the ambient environment. The Surface Pro 8 also includes support for Dolby Vision display technology and Dolby Atmos sound.
For video chats, the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The tablet also comes with a 10 megapixel 4K rear camera.
The Surface Pro 8 includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and supports a new Surface Pro signature keyboard as an optional accessory. The new keyboard includes storage and charging support for the Surface Slim Pen 2 – similar to the Surface Pro X. Additionally, the Surface Pro 8 offers up to 16 hours of battery life on a single charge.

However, it offers Wi-Fi connectivity only on integrated LTE to provide some of the previous experience at an affordable price. It offers a full day of battery life and Windows 11 out of the box.
