It’s been a while since Xiaomi announced MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition, which is supposed to be the last & most refined version of MIUI 12, before the launch of MIUI 13. Xiaomi says that it will make the software a lot more stable and fixes all the issues found in recent updates. It is rolling out to multiple devices since then and now it has reached to Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G.
The MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition has started to roll-out on Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G in India & Turkey starting from today. Though the change log don’t say much about the new enhancements, we know that the Enhanced Edition improves RAM Management, makes the phone animations shorter & smoother, and ensures phone to work as new as possible for long period of time. The update also brings the November 2021 security patch. It was around 470MB big update, and is rolling out in batches. It will take around a week to reach this update on every 11 Lite NE device.

My Experience:
As I am using this Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G for a while now, and I have updated the device around 12 hours ago, so I think I can share a quick experience. Yes the update is really noticeable. The RAM Management is improved drastically now and it keeps the apps in background for a long period now. I even complained about this in my detailed review, and now it’s fixed. The animations are also shorter and looks very subtle now. Overall smoothness is not noticeable as of now because the phone runs pretty smooth even before the update.
So that’s all about this new update. If you have the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G or any other Xiaomi phone which got this MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition, let us know your experience in the comment section below.
