Back in April, the Lenovo owned Motorola unveiled the much awaited Moto G series along with the Moto E series. And early in this week, the company launched Moto E5 and E5 Plus in the Indian market. Well, now the company has announced another device in the Moto E series and it is the Moto E5 Play Android Oreo (Go Edition).
Talking about the Moto E5 Play, it is an Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphone. If you are unaware about Android Go, then it is the operating system which Google developed for the low-end devices, and it is optimized for the devices which have a low processing power, RAM, and storage. Having said that, this operating system includes a trimmed version of apps like Google Go, Google Assistant Go, YouTube Go, Google Maps Go, Gmail Go, Files Go, and more.
Specification of Moto E5 Play Android Go
Coming to the specification, the device sports a 5.3 inch Max Vision display along with 18:9 aspect ratio. However, the company hasn’t revealed the resolution. There’s no information about the processor and RAM, but as the smartphone is an Android Go device, we expect it to come with 1 GB RAM.
The device has 8 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera, and both have LED flash. And the device also has a fingerprint scanner, apart from this, there is no other information is available.
Pricing and availability of Moto E5 Play Android Go
The device is coming with the price tag of €109 (approx. ₹8,736), and the device will be available only in Latin American and European countries.
