Moto Edge+ (2022) goes official in the market of the United States and the device is coming with almost the same specifications as the Moto Edge 30 Pro that was launched in India. Speaking about the Moto Edge+ (2022), it supports a stylus that is not available on the Indian variant and the Smart Stylus will be sold separately and the same also features mmWave 5G connectivity for Verizon customers. It is worth mentioning that the United States variant is coming with slower 30W charging support but the Indian variant supports 68W fast charging. 

Specifications of Moto Edge+ (2022)

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ pOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is also featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, and DCI-P3 colour space. It is worth mentioning that the display of the smartphone is protected by a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with anti-fingerprint coating. The device is powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC along with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. 

Speaking about the camera department, the latest Moto Edge+ (2022) features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and an omni-directional phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) as well as optical image stabilization (OIS) followed by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera department also features a dual-LED flash. It is also capable for up to 8K video recording at 24fps along with slow-motion full-HD (1080p) video recording at up to 960fps frame rate. The device is also featuring a 60-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens.

Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It is also featuring a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone features dual stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos along with three microphones and the same is also coming with an IP52-rated water-repellent build.

The smartphone houses a 4,800mAh battery with 30W fast wired charging and the device is running on Android 12 out of the box.
