Motorola has expanded its Moto Edge series by launching a new phone dubbed the Moto Edge 2024. The latest Motorola phone debuts with a 50MP Sony LYT-700C dual camera along with the power of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 mobile processor and more. The newly announced Moto Edge 2024 comes with a 6.6-inch pOLED display along with 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device also features 10-but colors with up to 1300 nits peak brightness and it also comes with gorilla glass 3 protection.
It comes with the power of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 mobile processor along with 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM on the board and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The Motorola device runs on the latest Android 14 operating system out of the box.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Moto Edge 2024 smartphone features a 50MP Sony LYT-700C primary sensor along with an aperture of f/1.88 and optical image stabilization. The device also features a 13 MP ultra-wide unit with an f/2.2 aperture and it will work as the macro sensor as well. The device also comes with a 32 MP front facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and Quad Pixel Technology (pixel binning).
The device houses a large 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The device also comes with an IP68 rating. Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports 5G connectivity (SA/NSA), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. The device also supports stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. It also comes with a customizable Quick Button and the same can be used as a shortcut to launch the camera, gallery or other apps.
In terms of pricing and availability, the device has a price tag of $549.99 and the Motorola device will be available in the market of the United States from June 20.
