Motorola has officially introduced its new Moto Edge 40 smartphone in the market of Europe after launching the Pro variant last month. The device is coming with a 50 megapixel primary sensor on the back panel and it is running on the Android 13 operating system out of the box. The new Moto Edge 40 smartphone features a 6.55-inch curved OLED display along with FHD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout at the centre position of the screen. It is also supporting an 8-bit panel along with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security. The device is also coming with dual stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos and the same is IP68-certified water and dust resistant.
The new Moto Edge 40 features a squarish camera module on the back panel and that accommodates a primary 1/1.55-inch main OIS-enabled 50MP sensor along with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It is also having a 32MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, the Moto Edge 40 Pro is coming with the power of a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 mobile processor along with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device is housing a 4,400mAh battery along with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. It is running on Android 13 out of the box.
The device is having a price tag of €550 and the same is available in the market of Europe.
