The very popular G series of the Lenovo owned Motorola is all set to get a new device, and that will be dubbed as the Moto G8 Plus. The upcoming smartphone is surfaced online and shows the designing set up along with the specifications and also reveals the launch date.
Leaked specifications and design of Moto G8 Plus
The upcoming Moto G8 Plus will feature dual rear speakers and it will also have glossy finishes, the smartphone will have volume rockers and power buttons on the right side, just like the previous Moto G series smartphones. The source also says that the device will feature is 6.3 inch full HD display with 2280 X 1080 pixels resolution and it will sport a waterdrop-like notch. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor along with 4GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone will available in two variants – 64 GB and 128 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via micro SD card.
Talking about the camera, the upcoming G8 Plus tipped to rock triple rear cameras and that’s in the combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, followed by a 16-megapixel wide-angle sensor with 117-degree field of view, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a fourth cut-out and that may be for the laser autofocus system which will allow focussing the subject quickly. Upfront, the device will have a 25-megapixel sensor.
The smartphone also supports the fingerprint scanner and that’s embedded in the logo at the rear side. Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports Bluetooth v5, LTE, dual-SIM support, wireless LAN, LTE Cat 13, dual band Wi-FI, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and more. It is said to pack 4,000 mAh battery and the smartphone will run on Android 9.
As of now, there is no information about the pricing of the upcoming Moto G8 Plus but the source claims that the company will launch the device on October 24 at an event in Brazil and after that the device will debut in the market of Europe but that will happen later in this year.
