Motorola Launched New Moto Mods Like Gamepad Mod & More

At MWC Motorola launched Moto G5 and G5 Plus with some decent specs and the flagship grade Camera for Moto G5 Plus. They also announced that Moto G5 and G5 Plus will launch in India on 15th March. But wait, they have something for last year’s Moto Z line-up, ‘Moto Mods’. For those who don’t know what Moto Mod is, Moto Mod is an external add-on for the phones that can be attached to the phone and can make the phone more better in that particular feature. Like for Camera, there’s Camera Mod. Last year, Motorola launched four Moto Mods, which are Camera, Projector, Battery and speaker mod. Now without wasting anymore time, let’s have a look at the new Mods.

Motorola launched a gamepad mode from which we can transform the Moto Z phones into a gaming pad like Nintendo switch. This Gamepad Mod will launch in summers and as of now we don’t have any information about pricing. They also launched a wireless charging mod, power bank mod, rapid charge mod and Amazon Alexa digital assistant Mod. The power bank mod will launch in March for $49.

There are few concept mods as well like Robot Mod, which can turn your Moto Z phone into a robot. A VR Mod and a tablet holder Mod will also launch. But as of now all these three mods are concept mods so expect the launch at the end of 2017 or early 2018.
