We know that the future of smartphone is Foldable Technology. Many big OEMs like Samsung, LG, Huawei, and Google are preparing for their foldable smartphones. These smartphones will start to debut in 2019 itself but will take a year to male a worldwide reach. Now looks like Motorola is also jumping into this Foldable smartphone league, as the new leak suggests the same.
The outline design of Motorola RAZR 2019 got leaked which showcase the foldable RAZR smartphone. As you can see from the images below, from the outside it looks pretty similar to typical RAZR phone. There’s a dual camera setup present as well along with a hinge in between which connects both upper & bottom part of the phone. Coming to the display, unlike original RAZR which had display on one side and number par on other, this foldable RAZR has display on both sides which are interconnected to each other. We can see the hinge on the sides, but the display looks completely flat when opened. Report suggests that it might be an OLED display. There is a small notch present at the top, which has the earpiece.
Yeah you read that right, there’s only earpiece on the front, no front camera is there. Now let’s get have a look at the back again. If you notice carefully on the upper body, there is a square design. That design is actually a secondary display which can be used for taking selfies, as one of the camera is just near to the display. So it will be a foldable smartphone with secondary display. Seems interesting and scary as well. Because none of the big OEMs have tried this and looking at Motorola’s track record from past 2-3 years, we can’t be so sure that they will implement this technology perfectly.
