Early this month, Motorola announced that the sales of its first foldable device called Motorola Razr delayed in India and that is due to the outbreak of coronavirus and it was supposed to go on sale on April 15. However, the government has extended the lockdown to curb the spread of the deadly disease and that forced the smartphone brand to delayed the sale of the device once again.
Motorola has now announced that the sales of its device in India will happen on May 6 which means 3 days later than and the lockdown period. To recall, the company launched the device in India on March 16 and it was first said to bring it on sale on April 2 but it was delayed to April 15 and now the company has set the sale for May 6.
Specifications of Motorola Razr
The device comes with the dual display screen, the primary display will feature a 6.2 inch flexible OLED HD+ screen with 2142 X 876 pixels resolution along with a 21:9 aspect ratio, and it will completely fold in half. And when the device is in the folded manner, you will get the secondary display which is in 2.7 inch Quick View display with 800 x 600 pixels resolution, it will provide notifications, allow you to control music playback, take selfies, and more. Under the hood, the device is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and paired with 6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device will provide 128 GB of internal storage.
Speaking about the photography department, the latest Motorola Razr (2019) rocks only a single 16-megapixel camera with f/1.7 aperture and this week as a selfie camera when the device is folded, while it will work as the primary camera as well when it is unfolded. Furthermore, the camera also features Night Vision mode and this will offer great photos in low-lighting conditions. Furthermore, there is a 5-megapixel camera also available in the primary display and that can be used to take selfies when the device is in the unfolded state. The device also comes with the fingerprint scanner to add an extra layer of security along with water-repellent.
Regarding the connectivity options, the device doesn’t have SIM card slot, as it supports eSIM cards. NFC support, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, 4G LTE, and GPS. The new Motorola Razr runs stock Android 9 Pie and the company claims that the phone will offer a seamlessly transitions from the secondary display to the main display. Finally, the device ships on a 2510 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
