A few days back a new Nokia device was spotted on Geekbench with the name of Nokia 7 Plus. Though with the early leak, we can assume that this will be the global variant with upgraded chipset launching at MWC 2018. But today we got few leaked images of this device’s specs and press image, it doesn’t just seem like just a global variant of the same phone. Why? Let’s have a look at this leak.
According to this latest leak, Nokia 7 Plus will become first Nokia phone to have the on-trend 18:9 display ratio. Also, the screen size will be stretched to 6 inches with Gorilla Glass protection. But it doesn’t mean that this phone will have less bezels like many other 18:9 phones, because if you see in the leaked images you will clearly notice big bezels on top and bottom. The front of this phone somehow resembles to the front of Pixel 2 XL. The camera will also get a good edge, as now this phone will have dual camera setup that’s made with Carl Zeiss. One is a 12MP wide angle lens while another one is 13MP telephoto lens, which will give 2x zoom and portrait shots respectively. The front camera is a 16MP shooter and there will be support for Nokia’s bothie feature.

It will have similar toned design as what we have seen on Nokia 6 (2018), dual toned design of black and copper/gold colours. It will have an aluminium back with ceramic texture, to give it a more comfortable and premium feel. Other leaked specs includes Snapdragon 660 processor, Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, 4GB RAM & 64GB of storage with MicroSd card slot, USB Type-C Port with quick charging support.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally speaking, Nokia is in too hurry to launch this phone, as the previous Nokia 7 is as of now available only in China. And even if it’s just a global variant of Nokia 7, there are a lot of improvements as compared to regular Nokia 7, which is not at all fair for those who bought Nokia 7 in China.
