So the Redmi Note 7 is a hot topic in Indian sub 15k smartphone segment as of now. Now the separated Redmi brand is launching this mid-range killer in India on 28th February. Just today we got to know that this phone will be sold online on Flipkart (of course on Mi.com as well). And now we have another teaser of the device, which shows that this upcoming Redmi Note 7 will be something else. So let’s have a look at it.
Redmi Note 7 was initially unveiled in China last month, and since then we are hearing rumours about a Pro variant of this device. Now this new Tweet by Redmi India has a clue that India might not get regular Note 7. The tweet is about the registrations of the seats for Redmi Note 7 launch in India. Now the thing that makes this teaser special is the portion, which we highlighted in the image below. If you notice clearly, you will see a fingerprint sensor is shielded with glass. This means the Redmi Note 7 that’s launching in India might have in-display fingerprint sensor. If this actually happens, then there are high chances that Redmi Note 7 will be the cheapest smartphone with in-display fingerprint sensor beating OPPO K1, which was launched recently in India.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. We are assuming that Redmi Note 7 in India will be actually the upcoming Redmi Note 7 Pro, which is going to unveil in China before Note 7 launch in India. Personally, I wish this would happen so that the Snapdragon 675 processor will get debuted in India. And of course, that in-display fingerprint sensor is also one of the major reasons. But we will suggest you to take this with a pinch of salt because we haven’t seen any rumour about in-display fingerprint sensor on Note 7 Pro. What are your thoughts on this teaser?
