Elon Musk who is the new boss of the world’s most favourite microblogging platform Twitter wants money from all sides and now the company has made a new decision that will break the heart of many developers and brands who really on free API access of Twitter for data.
It is officially confirmed that the company is discontinuing free API access and that means users need to make monthly subscription for the same.
Starting February 9, we will no longer support free access to the Twitter API, both v2 and v1.1. A paid basic tier will be available instead 🧵

Twitter has also confirmed that the subscription package will be announced very soon. The company is shutting down the free API on February 9.
