After unveiling the Nokia 2.1 and Nokia 5.1 in May, today HMD Global has launched both the devices in the Indian market. That said, the Nokia 2.1 is an Android Go edition smartphone, and Nokia 5.1 is an Android One smartphone. That means with the smartphones users will get the pure Android experience on both smartphones.
Nokia 2.1:
The device sports a 5.5 inch HD display with 1280 x720 pixels resolution along with older 16:9 aspect ratio. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 octa core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz. It has 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage (enough for Android Go smartphone) with MicroSd Card support. This phone has 8MP Rear Camera with autofocus, LED flash, and 5MP front camera.
As this Nokia 2.1 is powered by Android Go program, which results in it on running pure stock and lite version of Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box along with fast updates and specified light weight apps. It packs a whopping 4000mAh non-removable battery, same as the predecessor. For connectivity, it has 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and FM Radio.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, it is priced at ₹6,999 and the device will be available from August 12 via Nokia India’s website, Paytm Mall, and offline retail stores.
Nokia 5.1:
This Nokia 5.1 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD+ (2160×1080) display with latest 18:9 aspect ratio. It is made from 6000 series anodized aluminium and has a unibody design. It comes with MediaTek Helio P18 octa core processor clocked at 2.0Ghz each. It has 2/3GB of RAM with 16/32GB of internal storage with MicroSd Card support. A 16MP shooter is placed on the rear with PDAF, dual tone LED flash, and 8MP front camera with 84.6° wide angle lens.
The smartphone runs on Android One program, which results in it on running pure stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box along with fast updates. It packs a 2970mAh non-removable battery without any fast charging. The smartphone also has the fingerprint scanner. For connectivity, it has 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, and NFC.
In terms of pricing and availability, it is priced at ₹14,499 and the device will be available from August 12 via Nokia India’s website, Paytm Mall, and offline retail stores.
