Nokia 5.3 Confirmed To Launch In India Next Week

Nokia 5.3, a beautiful mid-range smartphone was announced earlier this year and now HMD Global has confirmed that the smartphone will be launched in the market of India. The company is bringing the smartphone after a couple of months of its official announcement and the same will be available in India as soon as next week.

The very popular smartphone brand has confirmed that the company will launch the new Nokia 5.3 smartphone in India on August 25 and the company will launch the device via an online event. Apart from the launch date, Nokia did not reveal the pricing information of the upcoming smartphone but we expect that it will be priced under ₹15,000 mark.

Specifications of Nokia 5.3

The device features a 6.55 inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 1600 X 720 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio, the device also offers a waterdrop like notch on the top of the screen. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor along with the 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB of RAM also supports Adreno 610 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the smartphone supports 64 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via MicroSD card.

Moving to the photography department, the latest Nokia 5.3 rocks quad cameras and that’s in the combination of a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture followed by a 5MP ultrawide sensor along with a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the smartphone supports an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. For security, the smartphone supports a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner along with the regular options.

Regarding the connectivity options, the Nokia 5.3 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, and USB Type-C port. The smartphone boots on Android 10 out of the box and packs on a 4,000 mAh battery with a slow 10W. The company claims that the smartphone will provide two days of battery life.
