Currently, we are getting a lot of Nokia content i.e. a lot of new regarding Nokia devices. Back in January Nokia launched their first 2018 device i.e. Nokia 6 (2018). It is the successor of last year’s Nokia’s most successful smartphone, Nokia 6. The new Nokia 6 has a lot of internal improvements which is making many Indian consumers excited. Yesterday Nokia launched a new variant of Nokia 6. But this is not the same which you are expecting.
Back in June, Nokia 6 came with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is sufficient for normal user but not for all. So now HMD Global owned company has launched a new variant of Nokia 6 i.e. 4GB RAM variant. They launched this new variant after 8 months of initial launch in India. This 4GB RAM variant also has an upgrade to internal storage, now it’s 64GB. But both 3GB & 4GB RAM variants have MicroSd Card support for external storage. Apart from storage, there’s not a single change between both these devices. It houses the same Snapdragon 430 processor which is an old chipset now. The 3GB RAM variant is priced at INR 14,999/-.
Pricing and availability details of this new 4GB variant:
- This one is priced at INR 16,999/-
- It will be available from Flipkart starting 20th February.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally speaking, I can’t find the point why Nokia launched this 4GB RAM variant in February 2018. Even it’s successor, Nokia 6 (2018) is unveiled last month. Instead of this new variant, Nokia should have launched the 2018 version of Nokia 6. Well, what are your thoughts on the same?
