Nokia To Launch Smart TVs In India

We all know that India is one of the biggest markets of smartphones in the world. But from the past 2-3 years we are seeing a sudden as well as incredible growth of the television sector in the country. After Mi TVs a lot of other manufacturers entered the Smart TV category, a recent most example is OnePlus. A few days from a month ago, OnePlus TV was launched in India but as it’s a very price-sensitive market, the premium price of OnePlus TVs can’t get consumers like Mi TV. Now another popular brand is entering into the Smart TV club, and that’s none other than Nokia.

Flipkart has announced that this nostalgic smartphone company is now entering into a whole new market i.e. Smart TV. Nokia will make the debut of their TVs from India and Flipkart will be their partner. The manufacturing of TVs is managed by Flipkart itself and they will also manage throughout the sales, distributions, and services. What’s more exciting news here is the partnership of JBL. Nokia says that they want to provide the best audio experience with their TVs, which is missing right now. And this leads to the JBL powered speakers on these TVs. But as of now, we don’t have any clue when they will launch the first Nokia Smart TV? what features it will have? and most importantly what will be the pricing? Only time will answer these questions.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally I am excited to see what Nokia will do in TVs, because TV is something buyers choose more than a smartphone, so it’s a bit tougher to sell TV as compared to smartphones. And right now Nokia is facing few issues in smartphone sales as well. Well, what are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comment section below. Also, stay tuned with us for more information.
