Well, today we got a new piece of information that clarifies the intention of Carl Pei and it also suggests that NOTHING Technologies Limited will step into the smartphone industry as well.
According to a Source, Carl Pei has acquired the Essential smartphone brand which was started a couple of years ago by Andy Rubin who is the father of the Android mobile operating system. Essential Launched only one Smartphone and that is Essential PH-1 but the device didn’t get a good response in the market. It was also reported that the company is going to launch new smartphones such as PH-2 and PH-3, as well as a new extra-slim smartphone with a brand new interface.
The report also says that the Essential smartphone brand ownership has been transferred to NOTHING Technologies Limited on January 6 this year and the formalities have been completed.
