Just yesterday, the UK-based electronics brand Nothing revealed the design language of the back panel of its upcoming and first-ever smartphone called Nothing Phone 1 and we also came across a video that showcased the real-life look of the device as it was in the hands of the backbone of the brand – Carl Pie. Now a piece of interesting information about the upcoming Nothing Phone 1 appears online and it is something fancy. It is reported that Nothing hosted a surprise event in Switzerland where the company offered access to a limited audience and that include a journalist who shared the images and video of the upcoming device which reveals the interesting fancy notification lights.
Going through the video, we can see that the back panel of the device is having glowing notification lights, and the same lights up when there is a message or call. The Nothing Phone 1 is also having a big ring at the centre position and the same also glows when the device is charging.
The company will be launching the device globally on July 12 and the device will be available in India via Flipkart. It is also revealed that the company will manufacture the device locally in India and this will help the company to offer the device with aggressive pricing as well, which will add new competition in the mid-range smartphone market.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Nothing Phone 1 smartphone will feature a 6.55-inch display along with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It is also reported that the smartphone will have “No chin” which indicates super-slim bottom bezels across the display. It is also believed that the device will support a 90Hz or a 120Hz refresh rate.
The upcoming Nothing Phone 1 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile processor along with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage.
Nothing previously confirmed that the device will run the Nothing OS based on Android 12 out of the box and the device will receive 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates. It is also reported that the device will support 45W fast charging support.
