Nothing will launch its first smartphone dubbed Nothing Phone 1 on July 12 and the company has already confirmed to make the device available in India via Flipkart. Before the official launching of the smartphone, the pre-booking details of the upcoming smartphone surfaced online in India. The Flipkart Product page of a Pre-booking coupon of the upcoming smartphone’s screenshot surfaced online and the description of the coupon says “This Coupon Code is your pass for the pre-booking for Nothing Phone 1”. It is also revealed that interested users can able to pre-book the Nothing Phone 1 by paying ₹2000 and the amount will be adjusted automatically during the final transaction.
The Pre-booking of the smartphone is not open yet but the coupon is valid till July 18. That means the pre-booking of the device will start immediately after the launching of the device on July 12.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Nothing Phone 1 smartphone will feature a 6.55-inch display along with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It is also reported that the smartphone will have “No chin” which indicates super-slim bottom bezels across the display. It is also believed that the device will support a 90Hz or a 120Hz refresh rate.
The upcoming Nothing Phone 1 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile processor along with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage.
Nothing previously confirmed that the device will run the Nothing OS based on Android 12 out of the box and the device will receive 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates. It is also reported that the device will support 45W fast charging support.
It is also reported that the device will be official on July 21 and the same will have a price tag under €500. The company has also confirmed that the device will be available in India via Flipkart.
