The London based company Nothing CEO Carl Pei has officially released a new video and shared it on YouTube. The video reveals the plan of the company for this year and it is also confirmed that there will be no flagship smartphone in 2026.
It is nothing new for the company as the brand has a tradition of introducing flagship devices in 2 years of gap. As the Nothing Phone 3 arrived after a two-year gap following the second generation phone.
Having said that, the top most executive of the company has confirmed that Nothing will introduce the Nothing Phone 4a series this year and it will come with the upgraded materials along with the design, display, camera, and more.
It is also confirmed that the company will be focusing on software especially the Essential Space. It is said that you will be able to create your own widgets via it. This particular feature is currently in alpha testing and the same is expected to move to the beta stage soon.
Talking about the upcoming devices, the upcoming Nothing Phone 4a already appeared on the UAE’s TRDA certification with the model number A069. While the big brother of the smartphone series appeared on the EU’s EPREL database, confirming its battery and charging specifications. The device will feature a 5,080mAh battery paired with 50W fast charging. It has also been certified by India’s BIS under the model number A069P.
