Adaptive Icons is the best feature of Android Oreo. Adaptive icon is a feature which makes all icons match in different style by placing icons on a background. Now Tesla software, Nova Launcher added support for the Adaptive icons on all devices. To enjoy Adaptive icons completely you’ll need smartphone running on Android 5.0 and to use some more icons you will need Android 7.0 .
To be noted here, most of the apps doesn’t support for the adaptive icons, you should be aware of these apps which do not support icons.Once the update has been installed, the user needs to enable this feature in the Look and feel option in Nova Settings.Under the Adaptive icons shape you can also select any defined shape and the mask Legacy icons toggle allows user to forcibly enable the icon shape for all applications.The change log for Beta update is follows,
