The developers of WhatsApp continuously working to make the platform amazing and brings new tools to give good user experience as well as to stop all the unwanted activities on this platform. Well, after testing a couple of months now the developers bring the ability to the platform which will not allow anyone to add into the WhatsApp groups without his or her permission.
We all know that many people add us into random WhatsApp groups even without our permissions and this leads to very bad feeling, to give a solution for this issue, the developers of WhatsApp introduced the new ability which will allow users to limit who can add you to the WhatsApp groups.
You can able to enable the feature by heading to Settings > Account > Privacy > Groups and select any of the three options — “Nobody”, “My Contacts” or “Everyone”.
If you choose “Nobody”, then you’ll have to approve every request before being added to the group. The “My Contacts” option, only allow those people who are in your contacts list can add you to the group. In the “Everyone” options, anyone can add you to the group and you’ll have three days to accept the invite before it expires. Having said that, the feature is currently available in a small number of users and it will be available worldwide in the coming weeks.
Well, this is a handy feature and we just loved it, we would like to hear your thoughts about the same in the comments section below!
