Users of WhatsApp beta version 2.18.4 of Android can quickly switch between the voice and video calls and vice-versa.
You need to carry out a procedure to switch between calls. When you tap on video call button to switch from voice to video call, your friend will receive a request, and, the voice call will only switch to video call if your friend accepts that request. It is worth to mention that, both the caller and receiver need to use the latest version of WhatsApp beta to get this feature.
