Nvidia has taken wraps off two new graphic cards which are part of the GeForce RTX 3000 series of GPUs and the company calls them, RTX 3080 Ti and the RTX 3070 Ti. These GPUs are an upgrade to the RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 GPUs from Nvidia.
The Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti offers better performance and more VRAM too. Besides these GPUs also offer the new ray tracing, DLSS, and Reflex technology which are seen in the new-gen AAA titles and gaming consoles. The Nvidia RTX 3080 sits in between RTX 3080 and the higher-end RTX 3090 GPU. The chips offer a clock speed of up to 1.67GHZ and come with record-breaking 10,240 CUDA cores in combination with 80 GPU clusters.
Coming to the Nividia RTX 3070 Ti, it is placed between the base model of RTX 3070 and RTX 3080. It features a frequency of 1.77GHz and comes with 6,144 CUDA cores and 48 RT cores. The new series of Nividia GPUs packs the second generation RT cores and the third generation of Tensor core.
Speaking of memory configurations, the RTX 3080 offers 12GB of GDDR6X VRAM and 384-bit interface. On the other hand, the RTX 3070 offers 8GB of VRAM and 256-bit interface. Both chips need the power of 350W and the company promises up to 1.5x better performance when compared to its previous generation ad competition. The Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti will go on sale with a price tag of $1,199 and the Nividia RTX 3070 Ti will retail for $599. These GPUs will go on sale globally from 3rd June and 10th June respectively.
