Nvidia has officially introduced its new awesome product dubbed the RTX 50 GPU Series with Nvidia Blackwell Architecture. So let’s get into the article to check out the complete details of the new GPU series of Nvidia.
Nvidia RTX 5090 and 5080
The new Nvidia RTX 5090 and 5080 are powered by the latest Blackwell architecture and the fifth-generation Tensor cores along with fourth-generation RT cores. The newly announced RTX 5090 has 92 billion transistors that will offer fast and most advanced GPU for gaming, rendering, and AI processing.
The latest RTX 5090 features 21,760 CUDA cores along with 32GB of GDDR7 memory. It has a power requirement of 575W and the same is capable of 3352 TOPS of AI performance. While the RTX 5080 has 10,752 CUDA cores along with 16GB of GDDR7 memory and the same requires 360W. The AI performance is rated for 1800 TOPS.
The RTX 5090 laptop variant features 10,496 CUDA cores with 24GB GDDR7 memory and it is capable of 1824 TOPS in AI performance. The RTX 5080 laptop GPU has 7,680 CUDA cores with 16GB GDDR7 memory. The AI capabilities are rated for 1334 TOPS. Both laptop variant GPUs have a power requirement of up to 150W.
Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070
The RTX 5070Ti and RTX 5070 are based on the same Blackwell architecture. The RTX 5070Ti features 8,960 CUDA cores with 16GB GDDR7 memory and it has a TGP of 300W. It is also capable of 1400 TOPS of AI performance. The RTX 5070 comes with 6,144 CUDA cores along with 12GB of GDDR7 memory and the power requirement is 250W along with 1000 TOPS AI performance.
The RTX 5070Ti laptop variant features 5,888 CUDA cores with 12GB GDDR7 memory. AI performance is 992 TOPS with a TGP of 115W maximum and the RTX 5070 laptop variant features 4,608 CUDA cores with 8GB GDDR7 memory. AI maxes out at 798 TOPS with 100W TGP.
Nvidia Debuts DLSS 4
The latest Nvidia 50 Series desktop and laptop GPUs are compatible with DLSS 4 and it also uses Multi-Frame Generation to boost fps in games using AI. It is also bringing DLSS Ray Reconstruction with 2x parameters and 4x computing for better stability in frame generation. Nvidia Reflex 2 has also been introduced which comes with Frame Warp.
