The newly added features on OneDrive
On the web version for personal accounts, OneDrive now supports dark mode and the company has finally introduced the feature on personal accounts even after having the feature on the board for around five years. The platform can now automatically detect the user’s preferred theme.
The platform has also received the new ‘Photos’ gallery screen along with the ‘On This Day’ (Memories) feature and more. Now let’s talk about the application version on both Android and iOS operating systems, a ‘Photos’ tab is introduced and the feature will be allowing users to access photos, memories, and many more with functionalities like seamless switching between files and photos, left and right swiping for navigating views, and ‘+’ button for adding photos, files, or folders.
It is also believed that the platform will receive some new AI features and it is believed to be available to all accounts including businesses and consumers.
