OnePlus has officially released the latest Android 16 with OxygenOS 16 on top for the OnePlus 11 smartphone and it is eligible for one more major update which is Android 17. The latest update has the version CPH2447_16.0.1.300(EX01).
The latest software update is bringing new animations along with performance enhancement, AI features, visuals, and system controls. The new Parallel Processing is available and the same brings smoother transitions across system apps. Icons, widgets, folders, and the Smart Sidebar now react with cleaner drag and drop behavior.
Moreover, the text selection magnifier fades in and out more naturally. You can also see the status bar shifting smoothly when pulling down the notification shade or Quick Settings, and the gesture can be stopped midway. The update will also offer audio controls in Quick Settings with new animations, and app opening and closing in button navigation feels more consistent. The charging and fingerprint effects have been updated and the same now use light wave patterns, and scrolling has been tuned for better precision.
The update has also boasted performance with the new Trinity Engine, and the same is capable to adjust workloads in real time. You can also see the power saving mode has received performance based on battery percentage. The update also brings AI features and the same expands across Photos, Notes, Recorder, Writer, and VoiceScribe. Photos offers clearer categories, easier album navigation, a swipe up info panel, stronger video editing tools, auto straightening, improved collages, and refined filters. Notes adds block editing, side by side image viewing, link sharing for full notes, new highlights, and more formatting. Recorder also receives AI noise reduction, automatic meeting or lecture detection, a new layout, and link sharing for audio, transcripts, and summaries. Writer can able to provide more content types and the same can create mind maps and tables. VoiceScribe is also improving call summaries with better context handling.
The user interface is receiving the new light field visuals, Aurora effects, live weather animations, redesigned Clock, Calculator, Compass apps, and a new fingerprint animation. The new update has also enhanced and updated the Flux Home that brings new icon styles, more folder layouts, text free icons, reorganized settings, category based Drawer mode, a new search bar position, improved suggestions, customizable widget names, adjustable clocks, Lock screen text options, and wallpaper-matched icon styles including Dark mode sets.
You will be getting updated connectivity including Touch to Share, improved OnePlus Connect with PC multi window support, cross device clipboard, grouped Device Connect settings, better car Bluetooth pairing, a new My Devices center with matching widgets, and enhanced AI LinkBoost. The new update will also enable you to share the phone Wi Fi with a tablet.
The latest update also brings features like an AI Doc Scanner, more Quick Settings customization with 2×1 tiles, cleaner notifications, earbuds only ringtone playback, an AI settings page, Bosnian language support, a refreshed Smart Sidebar, redesigned battery stats, faster iOS migration, improved virus scanning, and better data transfer speed. The update also brings the November 2025 security patch.
