It is confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 12 flagship smartphone will feature ultra fast connectivity with with USB Type-C 3.2 Gen1, which offers transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps. The device will also support the latest Bluetooth 5.4 and the same enables “connectionless, bidirectional, secure communication with thousands of very low-power end nodes in the star topology.”
The upcoming OnePlus 12 flagship smartphone will also feature NFC support and it will also come with an IR sensor that will enable you to control non-smart devices, which lack an RF sensor too.
It is expected that the upcoming OnePlus 12 smartphone will feature a 6.82-inch BOE AMOLED display with 3168 x 1440 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The 2K+ display offers 2160Hz PWM dimming and 510-pixel density as well. The company has officially confirmed that the latest OnePlus 12 will feature a triple rear-camera setup and that is in the combination of a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor along with a 64MP Omnivision O64B periscope telephoto camera and a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide lens.
The primary camera features an aperture of f/1.6 and a focal length of 23mm, while the ultrawide lens has an aperture of f/2.2 and a focal length of 14mm. The telephoto camera, on the other hand, has an aperture of f/2.6 and a focal length of 70mm, enabling 3x optical zoom.
It is also revealed that the upcoming OnePlus 12 will feature the same 13-channel multi-spectral sensor as its predecessor, the OnePlus 11. This particular camera sensor is designed to capture natural colors in photos. The device will also use the conjunction with Hasselblad’s color calibration expertise.
The upcoming OnePlus 12 smartphone will come with benefit from Oppo’s HDR and portrait-related technologies for enhanced image processing. The company has also revealed that the device will feature a 2K OLED display with curved edges along with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is also expected to come with a large 5,400mAh battery with 100W charging and 50W wireless charging.
