Last month, OnePlus rolled out the beta version of Android Oreo based OxygenOS 5.0 for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T devices. And the software worked really well, we reviewed it as well which you can read over here. Now the company has officially rolled out the stable version of the latest version of OS.
As the OxygenOS 5.0, is actually an Android version update, which means after the update you will get new features for your 2016 flagship device. The Android Oreo coming with lots of new features such as picture-in-picture mode, Auto-fill and much more. But OnePlus giving some more happiness to its users, as the company adding some extra features apart from the Oreo. The company has added a new feature called Parallel apps with the latest update, which will allow you to use more than one account of the same app.
Here are the new features:
- Added Parallel Apps.
- The picture in Picture.
- Auto-fill.
- Smart text selection.
- All-new Quick Settings design.
- Security patch updated to September.
- New notification dots, app folder design.
- Now users will able to upload photos directly to Shot on OnePlus.
According to the company, the latest update also comes up with some optimisation and fixes which gives an answer to the feedback of its community. So, what are you waiting for??? Update the latest version of OS, once it arrives on your device. Right now, the company has rolled out the new update for a small percentage of users, but it will reach on all the devices in less than two weeks. You can check the update manually by heading to the Settings app > System updates menu.
