The popular flagship maker OnePlus unveiled its new OnePlus 7 series, and the device is powered by the Oxygen OS 9.5. It is loaded with new features like Zen mode, Nightscape 2.0, and the screen recorder. Well, today we got new information which reveals that the few of them will be available on the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T devices with the future update.
The OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T are the flagship devices of 2018, and both of them runs on the Oxygen 9.0 builds, the smartphone brand has confirmed that it will bring the Zen mode feature to both the devices with the future update.
What’s the Zen mode
The Zen mode feature will freeze the device for 20 minutes aside from receiving calls and making an emergency call and using the camera, and the feature will not able to disable before the time runs out. Now you guys may think why such kind of feature is important to have on a smartphone. Well, this feature will help you to restrict someone’s access to your device, for instance, if there is a little kid in your home and you give the phone by enabling this feature, then the little one can’t able to access any other features of the device.
Speaking about the Nightscape 2.0, which help users to capture photos in low light and the company confirms that the feature will not available on the last year’s flagship devices and this may be because of the hardware limitations. Finally, the company hasn’t said anything about the availability of the screen recorder feature but we think that the company can able to bring this feature to the 2018’s flagship devices.
