Few days ago OnePlus 7T Pro smartphone got unveiled along with it’s McLaren Edition. As we already discussed that the 7T Pro was a very minor upgrade over 7 Pro, and probably that’s why the OEM didn’t find any reason to launch 5G variant of the same. But surprisingly neither 7T Pro nor it’s McLaren Edition isn’t available for USA. And that’s a bit disappointing because USA is not a small market of OnePlus for sure. Now seems like OnePlus already had something in mind for the biggest economy of the world.
Today the OEM announced the successor of OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition. That’s surely quite a big name and probably biggest name of any OnePlus smartphone ever. This is a good news for the fans in USA but at the same time a bad news as well. Because this is the only variant of 7T Pro. So fans can either go with this one or resist themselves with OnePlus 7T having only 4G bands. It will be available exclusively via T-Mobile. And that’s fair enough because there are limited telecom providers with 5G connectivity in-built.
Talking about the specs, everything is exactly same as regular 7T Pro McLaren Edition. The only difference between both is the Qualcomm 5G Modem, which obviously enables 5G connectivity on the design. Rest other things like Snapdragon 855+ CPU, Triple Camera Setup, OLED 90hz display with Quad HD+ resolution, and Warp Charge 30T, are same as before. Regarding the price the company didn’t announced anything but we can be sure that this will surpass the regular McLaren Edition and become the most expensive OnePlus smartphone ever.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. At least it’s a better situation for USA now because the availability of regular OnePlus 7 Pro 5G along with it’s regular variant is stopped now. So the only smartphone in USA to have no notch display is this one. Well, what are your thoughts on this OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition ? Let us know in the comment section below.
