When OnePlus stepped into the flagship territory, fans cried out loud for IP Rating and Wireless Charging for such a long time. Social Media was full of rumours that OnePlus is working on devices with these features. It ultimately came true this year with the OnePlus 8 Pro.
As you all know the numbered series has two devices, Pro and a Non-Pro variant usually (except for the 8T Series). The OnePlus 8 Pro is the first smartphone from the company to sport an official IP Rating and Wireless Charging. Reports claim that the US Carrier version of OnePlus 8 do sports IP Rating but its a story for another day.
New reports claim that like its predecessor the upcoming OnePlus 9 and 9E, will miss out on the official IP68 Rating across most regions. This reports also reiterates the existence of OnePlus 9E, which surfaced just weeks ago. In addition, now we have a few renders of the design of OnePlus 9E.
These renders point to the smartphone featuring two rear cameras which are inside pronounced cut-outs. Besides these schematics also showcase the usual button and alert slider placements which is no surprise. At the moment we do not have further details on the specs of the OnePlus 9 Series.
