OnePlus Brand Ambassador Robert Downey Jr. Spotted Using Huawei P30 Pro

Many celebrities around the globe advertise a lot of products and services. But they don’t use the same product personally. In smartphones we have seen a lot of cases where a brand ambassador of any company was spotted using the smartphone from another company. One such case happened recently with Robert Downey Jr. (AKA Tony Stark or Ironman). So let’s look into the same.

This year after the launch of OnePlus 7 series, the company made Robert Downey Jr. their brand ambassador. He advertised the OnePlus 7 Pro, and later OnePlus 7 as well. Recently he replied to a OnePlus post on Weibo, but not with OnePlus smartphone. Instead he used Huawei’s flagship P30 Pro smartphone. His reply was most probably a sponsored post, but the fact that it was posted from another company’s smartphone is something to get a bit of laugh here.

Though that post was deleted later, but also he later posted that it’s time to upgrade his assistant’s phone to OnePlus 7 Pro, so that the mistakes won’t happen again. And as you can see from the image below, this one was posted from OnePlus 7 Pro. So that previous post was done by his team member and probably he was using Huawei P30 Pro. It’s nice to see that he made it clear that he personally uses OnePlus 7 Pro.

There’s nothing wrong with advertising a product of a brand and personally using the product from another brand, but we as audience feels good if the advertised product is personally used by our favourite celebrity.
