OnePlus CEO Pete Lau talked with students at the European Institute of Design in Milan and there he shared the planning on the future. Recently, we came across an article which suggested that the company is working on a couple of devices and that will be unveiled with the OnePlus 7 but he did not mention any word about that. However, he confirms that there will be no foldable smartphone.
Lau confirmed that the brand is working on a TV or a “smart display” as he calls it. Furthermore, Lau hints there will no remote for the upcoming TV, as he said that remote controls as outdated, instead of that AI can learn your habits and have relevant information ready for you.
That’s not all, the company is also planning to expand its hand into the automatic business. as he suggested that the company is working on electronics that may be building a car and that is also teased by the company in the early days of the month. He also suggested that the possibilities of 5G enabled things.
