OnePlus TVs Will Be Launched In 2020

The popular flagship maker’s OnePlus turns ‘Five’ years old today, and the company has grown a lot during in this period of time, and now it is capable to beat any well-known brand. One of the main reason behind the success of the company is to give affordable smartphone without compromising on quality and performance and that’s why the company’s slogan ‘Never Settle‘ perfectly matches.

Well, early this year we came through a report which suggested that the company will foray into the television industry and the company will launch its first smart television by next year. However, today we got a new report and that says the company will launch its first TV in 2020. Moreover, Pete Lau, CEO of the company also said that India will be one of the first markets to get the new TV from OnePlus. Furthermore, the television will be available exclusively through Amazon India in the Indian market and there is no surprise in that because both OnePlus and Amazon having a really good relationship from a past couple of years.

Having said that, Lau didn’t give an exact timeline for the launch of its television and that’s maybe the company wants to take as much of time to make a perfect ‘killer’ television in the market and that will give a head-to-head competition with any other major brands. That said, the company does not have any name for its upcoming smart TV and for that the company had asked the help of its customers to suggest a name for its upcoming very first television. For this, the company held a contest on its Forums which is now closed and the winner of the contest will get a free round-trip to the announcement of the television and top 10 finalists will win a pair of OnePlus Bullet Wireless earphones, the winners will be announced by December 17.

That’s not all, the company also asked its users to give feedback on current smart televisions and how to improve them, the company is using the community’s help to build a better television and the company also want to understand what actually a user wants in a smart television.
