It’s 2020 now and the everyone’s expectations from the technology is higher than before. Especially in smartphones we are expecting huge innovations. And talking about smartphones we are already seeing innovations like foldable display, prism zoom technology, and of course fast charging. And if we talk about smartphone brands OnePlus is one such brand who’s focus is on proper end product rather than innovation. But seems like OnePlus is changing their way this decade.
Last month OnePlus teased their ‘Concept One‘ smartphone which is going to unveil in CES this month. Now today they once again teased this upcoming device which gives us a glimpse of something new for the company, and maybe even for us. In the teaser first thing we see is alert slider with something on left side. At first I thought it is something new, but later recognised that it’s power button. Then moving to another slide, we can see a glossy curved display with no punch hole at least at the right side. Then the third slide is main attraction here. It shows us a glass on the back and suddenly the camera setup appears. This suggests that OnePlus might showcase in-display camera technology at the event, or even a full-fledge Concept One smartphone.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. If this upcoming device will have an in-display camera than it will completely change the image of OnePlus as a brand. And also will set the trend of this new tech. And personally, this tech will get rid of me from the notches, and delicate mechanism of the pop-up camera. What are your thoughts on this teaser?
