OnePlus will be launching the new devices in its Nord series on July 8, and today the company has confirmed the camera details of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 5. The device will offer a flagship camera setup.
It is confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus Nord 5 smartphone will come with a dual rear camera setup and that will be in the combination of a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700 sensor and it is worth mentioning that this is the same lens which is available on the OnePlus 13. The device will also feature an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera along with a 116-degree field of view.
The device will also feature a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. Both the front and rear cameras of the device will be supporting 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.
It is also confirmed that the device will come with a LivePhoto feature. There is no clarification about the functionality of this particular feature. It is already confirmed that the device will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and it will feature LPDDR5X RAM. The the device will be coming with a 7,300mm² vapor chamber for thermal management.
The upcoming device is expected to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the device will house a 5,200mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. It is expected to come with up to 512GB of internal storage and the device will feature an IP65 rating for basic dust and water resistance.
