The Developer Preview for Android Q is running from a long time now, and the testing is in its final stage. Looking at the track record of Google, they will announce the official stable roll-out of Android Q for Pixel smartphones and the full form of Q as well. OnePlus is also participating in the Developer Preview program, and today they rolled out a new update for the same.
OnePlus has just released Android Q Developer Preview 4 for it’s supported smartphones. This is more of a bug fix update rather than the addition of new features. There will be a few bugs present in this update, like Google Pay won’t work and application compatibility issue. After updating the device users need to register their fingerprint once again, as it will be removed during the update process. Below is the changelog of Developer Preview 4.
Though OnePlus didn’t officially announce this update on their forum, users on previous Developer Preview started getting the update through OTA. So as before the compatible devices for this update are OnePlus 6/6T/7/7 Pro.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. This might be the 2nd last update, we might see the DP 5 update as the last update before the Open Beta update starts to roll-out.
