Recently, the popular flagship maker OnePlus announced its new display technology and that will offer a 120Hz refresh rate, the company also confirmed that the new display technology will debut with the upcoming flagship smartphones called OnePlus 8 series. Well, now the company teases the new display technology.
Pete Lau, CEO of the smartphone brand has confirmed on his official Twitter handle and confirms that the upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro will support 120Hz refresh rate with the motion interpolation. Moreover, the same will also have an MEMC chip and support the Fluid Display.
Well, this means you can able to watch a video at 30fps or 60fps video and a custom-made “MEMC” chip in the next-generation 8 Pro will be able to create additional frames to provide a higher frame rate. It is worth to mention that this technology is a common stuff in the higher-end TVs.
