After getting massive success with ChatGPT, now OpenAI has introduced OpenAI GPT 3.5 Turbo & Whisper AI Models and it is coming with prices 10 times cheaper than its predecessor along with better results.
The company has also announced that it has made a series of system-wide optimizations and it is managed to achieve a 90% cost reduction for ChatGPT since December. The latest GPT 3.5 Turbo model is now priced at $0.002 per 1k tokens, and the company claims that GPT 3.5 Turbo is its best model for many non-chat use cases.
Talking about the latest Whisper AI model, it is coming with better speech-to-text capabilities to its newest API. It is available via the organisation’s transcriptions (transcribes in source language) or translations (transcribes into English) endpoints, and the same accepts a variety of formats (m4a, mp3, mp4, mpeg, mpga, wav, webm). OpenAI has set the price at $0.006 per minute.
