During the MWC 2025 event, the popular Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has announced its latest artificial intelligence (AI) strategy and the company is trying to change the AI experience by integrating advanced AI solutions into its smartphones.
Tu achieve the target, the Chinese company is collaborating with the Mountain View company Google to integrate Gemini AI across Oppo apps including Notes, Calendar, and Clock, and the company is also working towards bringing Gemini 2.0 to its devices soon.
Oppo will also use the power of Google Cloud’s Confidential Computing to protect user data through its Private Computing Cloud. This particular area will be taking care of features including AI Recording Summary, AI Search, AI Studio, and AI Call Summary.
The company is also collaborating with the popular chipset maker MediaTek to deliver real-time processing without compromising energy efficiency. The company will be releasing the new AI-powered functionalities such as AI Call Translator and AI VoiceScribe, which offer real-time call translation and voice summarization in the upcoming updates.
