Oppo May Launch Smartphone With Rotating Camera

The Chinese smartphone brand Vivo introduced the pop-up camera setup in last year, and then the mechanism adopted by many other brands including Oppo OnePlus, and more. Well, this year the South Korean electronics giant Samsung introduced a new setup of camera mechanism, that is rotating camera. It will allow you to use the rear camera as well as a front camera with the same camera module. Recently, the Taiwanese smartphone brand Asus implemented the same setup in its latest flagship device called Zenfone 6. Now it seems that Oppo is working on a smartphone with the rotating camera setup.

Oppo has filed for a patent at the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office) depicting a smartphone with a rotating camera mechanism. The patent filing image looks similar to the camera mechanism of the Asus Zenfone 6.

Apart from this, we don’t have any other information about the development of the Oppo smartphone with the rotating camera setup. But we are looking forward to hearing more about the same in the coming days and we recommend you to stay tuned with us for the latest updates.
