The Oppo R17 is in the news from past couple of days and we even see that the device listed on their official website and it revealed some key specification details. Specification of Oppo R17
The all new Oppo R17 sports 6.4 inch Full HD+ AMOLED display along with 19:9 aspect ratio and has 2280 X 1080 pixels resolution. That said, the display is protected with the new Gorilla Glass 6 which was announced in last month and Oppo R17 becomes the first smartphone to feature the new Gorilla Glass 6. Furthermore, it also has a Waterdrop Screen, that is a different notch than the other we have seen on recently launched smartphones.
The device is powered by 1.7 GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 670 processor and Oppo R17 is the first device to be powered with this processor, along with Adreno 615 GPU. That said, the device is paired with 8 GB of RAM along with 128 GB of internal storage and it can be expandable via MicroSD card.
Moving to the camera department, the Oppo R17 features a dual camera setup and it is in the combination of 16 megapixel + 5 megapixel with LED flash, along with a 25 megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, 3D Portrait mode with AI-powered Beauty mode. Moreover, the device is also coming the in display fingerprint scanner.
In terms of connectivity, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo 8.1 and that is based on ColorOS 5.2 and it is backed on 3500 mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge.
Pricing and availability of Oppo R17
The smartphone is priced at ¥3499 (approx. ₹35,621), and it will be available in China from August 30. Having said that, there is no information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
