As promised earlier, today the popular smartphone brand Oppo has launched its new smartphone in the market of India and the device is dubbed as Oppo Reno 3 Pro. Well, the device was in the headlines from the past couple of days and it is coming with a few differences than the original version which was launched last year in its homeland i.e. China. The Indian version of the smartphone has lots of improvements in the camera department and offers an amazing device for those who love to capture your beautiful moments using the smartphone, the company says that it can able to provide DSLR like shots. Oppo has launched the device at an event in New Delhi and had an amazing stage to showcase and present the amazing camera smartphone for the users. Specifications of Oppo Reno 3 Pro
The smartphone features a 6.5-inch full HD+ super AMOLED display with TÜV Rheinland certification, it offers a 2400 X 1080 pixels resolution and has a dual punch hole set up at the top left corner of the display. It also supports a 20:9 aspect ratio and 91.5% screen to body ratio. The smartphone also supports HDR10+ which means you can enjoy high definition contents and the display is protected with Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the newly announced Mediatek Helio P95 processor along with 8 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone supports 128/256 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via MicroSD card.
Moving to the highlighting section of the Oppo Reno 3 Pro, it rocks a quad camera setup at the back and dual front camera setup that means it will offer 6 cameras in total. So, let’s check out the rear camera setup first, the smartphone offers a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture followed by a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter with a field of view of 119.9 degrees, and a 2-megapixel mono sensor with a pixel size of 1.75 microns. The smartphone also features the dual selfie camera setup that’s in the combination of a 44-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
The camera department also supports a 5x hybrid zoom and up to 20x digital zoom, and also has the artificial intelligence-based algorithms to turn on the Ultra Dark Mode and the same will offer amazing images in dark. The camera department will also support Multi-frame composition, AI-based Noise Reduction, and an Ultra Night Selfie Mode. Additionally, there are Video Bokeh, Video Zoom, and AI Beauty Mode for video recordings.
Apart from the camera, the device also focuses on the gaming section as well. The Oppo Reno 3 Pro offers a Hyper Boost feature and the same will offer an enhanced gaming performance’ along with the capability to respond to messages while playing. Moreover, the device also comes with the Soloop Smart Video Editor and that will allow users to share videos on social media channels. The device also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner along with Dolby Atmos and the Hi-res audio support.
Regarding the connectivity options, the Oppo Reno 3 Pro supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone runs Android 10 with ColorOS 7 on top and ships on 4,025 mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 technology.
Pricing and availability
The 128 GB storage variant is priced at ₹29,990 while the 256 GB storage variant will cost ₹32,990 and the device will available from March 6 which will be in 128 GB storage option and the high-end variant selling date is yet to be revealed.
Personally speaking, the device is a perfect choice for the camera lovers but it would be great if the company launches it with the Snapdragon chipset which it was implemented in the original version in China.
