Just a couple of hours ago, we updated that the Mountain View company Google announced the Android 9.0 Pie. The new version of the Android is coming with lots of new features and ultimately it is powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). That said, the Android 9.0 Pie has a feature called Gesture Navigation which actually ditches the traditional home, recent buttons from the device. Well, now we got information which reveals that the upcoming third generation Pixels will feature the gesture navigation only.
According to the source, the third generation Pixel smartphones will come with the new gesture navigation feature only which means there will be no traditional three buttons layout which we are used to see on the Android devices. Moreover, it is also said that the Pixel devices which are updated from Oreo to the latest Android 9.0 will able to see the three button navigation by default, however, those users can able to change this with an option.
Having said that, the search engine giant is not making this as a rule (like the notch) and that’s why the smartphone brands can able to continue the traditional three buttons navigation, if they don’t want to adopt the new gesture navigation.
