Poco F2 Appears On Geekbench

We are already aware that the Xiaomi’s new sub-brand Poco is working on its next generation of the device and that is called Poco F2. The device is coming as the successor of Poco F1, which received a huge welcome in Smartphone market especially in the Indian smartphone market. Well, now the Poco F2 pops-up on the popular benchmarking site Geekbench and the smartphone spotted on Geekbench for the second time.

The Poco F2 appears on the Geekbench benchmarking site and the listing says that the smartphone will be powered by the latest and greatest in Snapdragon 855 processor at the heart, and there is no surprise because of the Poco F1 came with the Snapdragon 845 processor which was the latest and greatest processor of 2018.

Furthermore, the listing says that the device will be paired with 4 GB of RAM and it will run on the upcoming Android Q operating system. Well, both of this information not digesting to me because the first generation of Poco phone came with 6/8 GB of RAM options and when a company unveils the second generation it must have the upgraded variants instead of degraded variants.

Having said that, the Android Q will be rolled out later this year and usually, Google push the update to the Pixel devices ahead of others and the second generation of Poco device is expected ahead of the stable version of Android Q.

Coming back to the listing, the device has scored 1776 points and 6097 points in single-core and multi-core tests respectively. It’s worth to mention that this phone is very low when we compare to other devices which are powered by the Snapdragon 855.
