The excitement of OnePlus TV is increasing gradually as we are getting near to its launch date. Recently OnePlus teased the launch of their new devices including the TV as well. From the past few months, we are seeing a lot of specs through leaks and official teasers. But one thing which we haven’t heard anything about yet is it’s pricing. As of now, we don’t have any clue about the pricing of this TV.
Now today we got a leak which shows the MRP price of OnePlus TV in India, and it’s ₹1,49,900 (approx. $2,000). And it’s really expensive. An image of label on OnePlus TV Q1 Pro box is leaked which shows some information about the TV along with this insane pricing. First of all, don’t assume that it will be the highest model having screen size of 75 inch or bigger. This one has screen size of 138cm i.e. 55 inch only. And that’s another shock for all of us. Now lastly this TV is made in Vietnam.
Talking about the price, there are mainly three possibilities. First is that this might be the highest-end “Q1 Pro” variant with all features of premium Smart TVs by Samsung, LG, and Sony. There will be other non-pro variants priced below this one. The second assumption is just like many other electronics, the price mentioned on the box is higher than the actual price. It might cost around ₹1,10,000 but that too is a very high price. Lastly, this might be the photoshopped image because only the price is mentioned in bold font.
So that’s all the information as well as assumptions we have as of now. OnePlus once said that they will compete with premium brands in their premium TV segment. So maybe they are going to compete with flagship OLED TVs priced even above ₹2,00,000 or higher. We can’t come to a conclusion with this leak, but now there’s another option of the price of OnePlus TV. What are your thoughts on this hefty price of OnePlus TV?
